I was feeling the need to expand our breakfast options last week. Along came baked pears. Apples are our other favorite to eat this way. Perfect for the fall when the weather is cooling down.
Baked Pears:
Ingredients:
5 pears
Ground cinnamon
Maple syrup
Directions:
Cut the fruit in half, core the middle, pour a bit of maple syrup on each then sprinkle some cinnamon. Bake at 375F for 40-45 minutes.
Enjoy the smell that fills the room while the pears are baking.
We use unsweetened coconut yogurt, homemade granola and a bit more maple syrup as toppings. Simple yet so delicious.
