Made this little art in the picture for my older daughter for this year’s valentine because I always want her to remember that she can do anything she sets her mind to and I will be right behind her cheering her on. This year’s treat is chocolate covered berry bliss balls using berry powder from Pure Synergy which is packed with antioxidants.
💜 Chocolate Covered Berry Bliss Balls 💜
Makes about 16
Ingredients:26 dates, soak in warm water to soften for 5 minutes and drain.
3/4 cup shredded coconut
1/4 cup hempseeds
1 tsp cinnamon
1/2 cup walnuts
1/4 tsp pink salt
2 Tbsp berry powder
Extra shredded coconut to cover at the end.
Direction:
Melt chocolate of your choice by putting the chocolate in a heat safe glass or mixing bowl and dipping the bowl in boiled water. I used Lily’s Original dark chocolate (vegan).
Mix the ingredients in a food processor until sticky dough forms. Roll into balls.
Coat them with the melted chocolate then put them on a lined baking sheet.
Sprinkle some shredded coconut and roll them to coat evenly.
Put them in freezer for 30 minutes then taste test 1 or 2 then store them in a container back in the freezer until ready to serve.
My daughter enjoyed dipping the balls in the melted chocolate and could not wait to enjoy the leftover chocolate.
