I don’t know what it is but I have a tendency to forget to serve something when we host a party. This picture is an example. I made this fennel salad for my daughter’s birthday party on Saturday then completely forgot to serve it to the guests.
I didn’t forget to snap some pictures though. Yes, my priorities are messed up. Next time, I will make a list of things I’ve made and put it on a fridge so I won’t forget anything.
Upside to this situation was having a salad to eat for the next couple of days. We can always find something positive in any situation.
Fennel salad ingredients:
Fennel & cucumber, sliced thin using a mandolin
Cherry tomatoes
Corn
A can of black beans, drained and rinsed
Direction: Mix everything and season with Himalayan salt, dill weed & fresh lime juice.
