I’ve made this bread 4 times in the last week and a half which is probably a record for anything I’ve made. It’s that popular in my house so I couldn’t wait to share.What can be better than a slice of homemade bread topped with homemade jam. Hope you will enjoy it as much as we do!
Herb Bread (free of gluten, oil, yeast)
Ingredients:
1 banana, mashed
2 cups gf oats, blended into flour
1/2 cup almond flour
1 Tbsp coconut sugar
1 Tbsp Italian seasoning
1 Tbsp dried chives
1 tsp onion powder
1 tsp garlic powder
1 tsp baking soda
1/2 tsp pink salt
1 cup plant milk
1 Tbsp apple cider vinegar
Direction:
Mix everything and pour the batter into a lined bread pan. Bake at 375F for 1 hour, until a toothpick inserted comes out clean. I like to keep the bread in a pan for 20-30 minutes (the bread continues to cook a bit further) then move to a cooling rack. When the bread cools, slice & enjoy. It’s great with soups, with jams & nut butters and to make avocado toasts with. When I eat it the following day, I like to toast mine for a couple of minutes.
