Here’s one of my family’s favorite smoothies that instantly lifts your mood because of the beautiful pink color and energizes you with the taste.
Also, I know my family can use a break from our usual dark-hued smoothies that I normally make which are packed with a lot of superfoods.
This is one of my go tos for when I want to be playful with a smoothie.
Strawberry Smoothie
serves 4 (*but of course it depends on the size of the serving glass)
Ingredients:
2 cups unsweetened coconut milk
3 Bananas
2 cups Frozen strawberries
1/2 cup gluten free oats
2 Tbsp almond butter or sunflower seed butter if making a nut free version
Direction:
Put all the ingredients in a blender and mix. Enjoy!
*Always remember, you can taste test and adjust each ingredient to your liking. You are never stuck with the recipe measurements!
